Ancient medicine for modern health
Acupuncture is quickly growing in popularity as more people are seeking natural methods to heal their aches and pains. Chinese medicine offers a cost-effective alternative to treating a myriad of conditions without the adverse side-effects associated with many medications and procedures. Practicing out of Alberta Street Acupuncture Clinic, I use acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine for the following conditions:
Back Pain, Neck Pain, Knee Pain, Shoulder Pain
Auto Accident Recovery
Sports Injuries & Performance
Stress & Relaxation
Anxiety & Depression
Women's & Men's Health
Please explore Conditions Treated Page for further information on the injuries and diseases that benefit from acupuncture and Chinese medical treatment, and to learn about care at Alberta Street Acupuncture Clinic.
As a practitioner of Chinese Medicine I view the body holistically, focusing on how organ systems integrate and function together. The ultimate goal of Chinese medical treatment is to restore the body to it's natural state of balance with all systems functioning optimally and harmoniously. I use acupuncture, herbs, and other non-invasive techniques to mitigate symptoms of disease or discomfort, while simultaneously restoring the body's innate ability to heal. Please visit What is Chinese Medicine? to learn about the traditional Chinese medical techniques available.
"Recently I fell down some steps and landed really hard right onto my tailbone. The pain was intense. All that night and the next day I had difficulty sitting, standing, even turning over in bed. Stephanie treated me with acupuncture 2 days after my fall. When the treatment was finished, I got up and was amazed immediately. The pain was reduced by at least 50%!! Not fully trusting it, I walked around, sat up and sat down repeatedly, and sure enough, the pain level was way down. Hooray! Thank you, Stephanie. Now I can go about my life so much easier." ~ S.W.
